Who controls your information
The Elfar Bridge service owner operates this applicant-assistance platform. The formal controller name, address, privacy contact and DPO details are configuration blockers and are not invented here. Applicants can use their authenticated portal or contact the administrator who issued their invitation while those details are pending.
Information and purposes
Elfar Bridge handles account and contact details, applicant-provided career or study profiles, documents, consent choices, messages, applications and security/audit events. It uses them to provide the service an applicant selected, protect accounts, scan documents, prepare administrator-reviewed assistance and maintain an evidence trail. Jobs and Scholarships are stored and authorized as separate service contexts; applicants are not copied between them.
Human control and external actions
Automated tools may extract suggestions from applicant-authorized documents or stage public opportunity evidence. Applicants review suggestions, administrators review consequential decisions, and Elfar Bridge does not automatically submit an external application. Public-source results remain unpublished until administrator review.
Storage, providers and security
Core records use Cloudflare Workers and D1. Documents are encrypted by the application before storage in Workers KV and are tracked by an immutable D1 ledger. Dedicated n8n, email, malware-scanning and private crawling services support approved workflows. Access controls, MFA for privileged roles, signed webhooks, replay protection and audit records protect those paths.
Retention and deletion
Documents and profile records are retained while needed for the invited service, security, legal obligations and approved applicant requests. The operational audit-retention setting targets 2,555 days, but the final owner-approved retention schedule and legal basis remain launch blockers. Exact-key document deletion and privacy-request workflows preserve only evidence that must lawfully remain.
Your choices and rights
Authenticated applicants can review information, withdraw optional consent and request access, correction, restriction or deletion through the portal. A request may require identity verification and may be limited by a lawful retention duty. See Support and contact for the currently available channels.
